Coffee Conversations In-Person

Enjoy a free coffee at the library every Friday morning! We'll have occasional guest speakers as well. Check the calendar listings to see who is presenting. Presentations begin at 10:00am, free coffee available from 9:00-11:00. Please go to the Circulation Desk to request your free coffee pod. 

May 6 - Meet the Hospice Team - The Compassus Hospice team describes how each member assists in hospice and gives an overview of the Hospice program. 

May 20 - Interfaith Caregivers - Looking to make a difference in your community? Learn how you can help local seniors remain independent by volunteering with Interfaith Caregivers. Know a senior who could use a helping hand? Learn about the many ways Interfaith Caregivers can make each day a little easier.

June 3 - Dealing with Grief – A Compassus representative discusses the basics of grief, and answers questions on what a person will often encounter during the grief process.

July 8 - Advanced Directives – A Compassus representative explains advanced directives and why they are important to everyone. Power of Attorney, living wills, and DNRs will be included.

August 5 - Medications used in Hospice - A Compassus representative explains which medications are used and why.
